Affiliate and Product Disclosure

I imagine you want to understand a bit better, how I am financially supported here on my blog. I’d be happy to share with you and thank you for helping this ministry support your creative journey with God!

This art ministry is primarily supported in 3 ways.

  1. By regular ministry supporters called, Ministry Champions.
  2. By sales of online courses in my online Creative Faith U school.
  3. By the commissions earned when you click on affiliate links I share.

I need to make one thing incredibly clear.

I only share about products I LOVE. Period.

To support your journey, I have affiliated with DaySpring, Scrapbook.com, Amazon USA, Simon Says Stamp, Michaels, Amazon UK, Hobbycraft, and Joy Clair.

I receive a 3-13% commission per sale (depending on the partnership), when products are purchased through links here at this blog. Sometimes I also share these links on my social media pages and groups to help people easily access what recommendations I have shared about. This is NO additional cost to you.

Think of it as myself simply getting tipped by these companies for passing their deals on to you, when you choose to purchase using my links. This financial support allows me to bring you more videos and content!

In a way, you are buying local when using my links. Your support helps pay the bills and invests in this art ministry. Thank you for partnering with me in your shopping choices! I am grateful to bless others with this unique art ministry because of your support.

My promise to you…

  • I will never promote a product which I do not love. If I review something, I will be honest.
  • Even though I have affiliates, I have not made a commitment to use their product. I simply share links to their products that I love, on my blog and social media. In return, they offer me a thank you tip, in the form of a small commission per sale.
  • I have never accepted payment by products or financially, for blog posts or to participate in blog hops, etc.
  • You can feel confident knowing that if I have partnered with an affiliate, it is because I personally enjoy their products. I only promote products I truly love.

Companies are welcome to send me products as a gift, not payment. There are no expectations to use them. If I like them (and have the time), I will share them in my video tutorials and/or blog posts. I love to support the products and companies I believe in. Also, feel free to contact me if interested in sending giveaway items for my blog and social media followers.

I do not work for any of the companies I talk about or whose products I share, nor am I on any design teams.

How my affiliate partnership programs work…

Many of you have been wonderful about supporting me through shopping with my links, which I am so appreciative of. Thank you! I am thankful for all your support, which enables me to keep sowing my time generously into this creative ministry and reinvesting into it.

Several have asked if I can explain just how each of the affiliate programs work which I participate in, so that you can ensure I get credit when you click on my links. That is really kind and I so appreciate it! I will try to explain it here…

It is important to note that I am unable to see your individual purchases. You have total shoppers confidentiality with the sites you order from. I simply get a list of all items purchased collectively by everyone shopping in a given month and this product sales information is always anonymous.

By purchasing any products using links I share, I get 3-13% of each sale, (depending on the company). This is small but adds up collectively and I so appreciate you trusting my recommendations when they are suitable for you.

View details on particular programs by selecting them below.

Amazon.com & Amazon.co.uk

If you click on an Amazon link I provide, Amazon will “cookie” your computer or mobile device (remember amazon affiliateyou), to ensure giving me credit where it is due. Anything (across the whole of Amazon), which you add to your shopping cart in the first 24 hours after visiting Amazon through any of my links, will give me a commission; if any of those are then purchased within 90 days without being taken out of the shopping cart during that time.

My affiliate ID for Amazon.com is rebekahrjones-20 and for Amazon.co.uk is rebekahrjones-21. Should a link of mine ever be missing this from anywhere in the link, I will not be given credit for that item. I always much appreciate people who inform me if this happens so I can fix it for the future. 🙂

Amazon UK affiliate partnerIn simple terms, the percentage per shopping cart item total purchase, which I am given a commission on, can fluctuate each month between 4-8.5% depending on the product category and overall monthly volume of purchases my links have achieved. The more individual products everyone collectively purchases using my links in a given month, the larger percentage Amazon pay when they total sales at the end of a given month.

Payments are given to me 2 months after a month end, in order to allow refunds of returns which I would not still receive a commission on for obvious reasons.

Dayspring

If you click on a DaySpring.com link I provide, they will “cookie” your computer to ensure giving me credit where it is due. After visiting them through any of my links, anything (across the whole of their site) which you purchase within 90 days, will result in them giving me a commission of 13% of your shopping cart item total. This percentage does not change.

This commission would not occur if you visit another site during that 90 days and click on their affiliate link to visit Dayspring.com. This would reset the cookies on your computer and fairly give commission to the other person whose link you more recently visited them from.

My DaySpring affiliate agreement is managed by ShareASale. When a link of mine works correctly for DaySpring.com, you’ll notice something happen. The moment you click on my DaySpring.com link, the address bar will very quickly show a long web address at shareasale.com (where your computer is cookie’d), before quickly proceeding to your expected page on DaySpring.com. Should a link of mine ever not do this “hop” process, I will not be given credit for any purchases you may make from that visit. I always much appreciate being informed if this happens, so I can fix it for the future. 🙂

Scrapbook.com

A fun way to support this ministry with no cost to yourself…

If you click on any of my affiliate links which I provide, and then purchase anything at all in their entire shop, I will get a commission on all of those items.

So, if you click on a link I provide to colored pencils that heads you to Amazon.com, and then you add cat food and chocolate during that shopping visit, I will get a commission on ALL of those products.

Some of my sweet blog followers don’t feel they can become a Ministry Champion, but want to support this creative ministry somehow. They cleverly click on any of my links, before doing regular shopping, so I can be supported by them doing normal life! It is super thoughtful and a clever way to partner with me to impact lives. Thank you!
